Laughs & Lids

Disclaimer: I am by no means catching the 'fever'. The baby fever that is. I love me some babies and when it is our time I will more than happy to do all the cute and fun things that go along with having babies. As for now, I'll just read the funny preggo books. I am nowhere near ready to give up my Satruday mornings sleep ins, my husbands attention :), or my money for my own clothes. haha. But, all the girls at Supper Club were raving over this book. Belly Laughs by Jenny McCarthy. Have any of you heard of it or read it? Supposedly it talks very bluntly about the truths of pregnancy and childbirth. I can't wait to get into this one.

So, I'll be reading this while laying on my float this weekend. Can't wait!

And, Lids!

Our next purchase will be this toilet lid. Not just any toilet lid, its a non-slamming lid! Ahh. That's like music to my ears. The other night I was sitting in the living room watching tv and I heard this loud BANG and I about jumped out of my britches. It seriously sounded like a gunshot or a bomb. No, it was just Jim putting the toilet seat down. I know I should be thankful that he puts the seat back down, but I mean come on. The noise was crazy. Well, one of Jim's friends was showing us his new house a few years ago and Jim's favorite part was the toilet lid. You can literally close that thing as hard as you can and it will not made a peep. It slowly goes down until it is completetly closed. Now that we are married, its a MUST purchase item. So, we will probably be going by Lowe's on the way home Sunday.

Until then, you can find me here!

Happy 4th everyone! Have a safe weekend!
