Weekend Recap

Hello Everyone! I really don't have much to post about today other than the weekend. We had so much fun! My parents got here Friday night and we just got them settled in and sat around and talked until bed time. This was the first time they had seen our house since we've been married. And let me tell you, it is WAY different than it was when I had roommates. It just looks more mature now I guess. They both loved it! So did my precious Chihuahua, Bella, as she sniffed out every room in the house. Saturday we woke up to Jim making breakfast for everyone. It was delicious! Jim had to go into work for a little while so me and my mom ran to Target and then me and my dad made daquiries and pina colodas for the beach. Yummy! We got our towels ready, the cooler packed, and put our bathing suits on. By this time, Jim was off work and we were ready for the beach. We went to a place called Fannies on the Beach for lunch and finally got us a Shrimp Po Boy. After lunch we set up shop on the beach. Jim was estatic to finally use our wagon we got as a shower gift. That thing was so useful. It carried the fishing poles, our chairs, the cooler and our towels. Me and mom just laid out while dad and Jim fished and drank beer. It was such a fun and relaxing day! After we got back from the beach, Jim and dad walked to the pool area to grill the steaks while mom and I cooked the potatoes, green beans, onions, and brownies. We all sat around and had a delicious meal and then just watched tv and talked. Sunday we went to a great breakfast place called Sunrise. Jim left for a round of golf with his friends and then me and mom went to TJ Maxx and Homegoods. We got dad and Jim some great deals. We didn't get anything for ourselves! I was really impressed with myself. After that we went back to the house and they packed up and left. I really enjoyed spending time with my parents and my husband! Some of my favorite people in the world! I'll get my dad to send the pics he took and I'll post them later.



Oh, and Thank You to EVERYONE that helped me with a new name. I really think I like either
