1 more day until the weekend

Nothing too exciting today. I woke up this morning at 5:40am to meet my trainer and he OVER SLEPT! I was fuming. I had to go to the gym and do my own workout which consisted of lifting a few weights while yawning and rubbing my eyes. If no one is there to push me, I am worthless. He called and apologized as I was getting ready for work. So, now we will be working out tomorrow morning at 6am. 3 days this week I've had to wake up when its still dark. No fun!

I am about to meet Willy at Panera Bread for lunch. I love him being here with me. When we were living in different towns, I never thought the day would come when I could just call him to eat lunch. I love it! Do any of you find yourself missing your significant other during the day? Like really missing him? I know I am going to see him when we get off work, but during the day I REALLY want to see him. We had so much fun last night just cooking dinner together, taking a walk, and reading our Bibles while laying in bed. It was so amazing. We both talked about how we learned about the bible when we were little. So funny how vacation bible school and kiddy bible studies can get so creative with teaching children about the bible. I am desperately searching for a couples bible study for us to get involved in here in Savannah. We always say " A couple that prays together, stays together". It's so true!

Well, I'm off to lunch with the love of my life. Have a great day!!!!

  2. I get that way with Hubby. I love it when he calls me and asks me if I can go to lunch. It is just a nice suprise to spend more time together.
And keep up the couple prayers. I feel that prayers allow for better communication between the couples.

  3. You should try the Savannah Christian Church small groups. I go to SCC and I am in an all girls small group and I love it! They have a huge offering of small groups for young married and engaged couples. They have them all over Savannah and at different times, so they probably have one for you. You don't have to be a member of SCC to go either. My best friend comes to the one I am in and is not a member. If you want any more info or who to talk to, feel free to email me (my address is on my blog)
